Long processing time for housing loans
There are many people sending us applications for housing loans right now. Due to the work load the processing time for loan applications can unfortunately be several months. We are doing everything we can to reduce the waiting time.
The reason for the long processing time is that we have received many more applications than expected and we have not been able to increase our processing capacity as much as needed to keep up.

Prioritizing new housing loans
We are prioritizing new housing loan applications, where we currently have a processing time of one to two weeks. The waiting time is longer for applications for refinancing and loans for renovation.
Shorter waiting time from autumn
We have begun the process of recruiting more case managers who will start over the summer. From August, our capacity for mortgage applications will be considerably increased. We expect the processing time for loan applications to be shorter during the autumn.
