Former members

If you were previously employed by a company that provides occupational pension from the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund, you may have accumulated pension entitlements – so called deferred pension.

Retirement pension

To get retirement pension you must:

  • have been employed for a minimum of three years, in one or more organisations that are affiliated to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund.
  • apply for retirement pension from the National Insurance Scheme when you reach the age of 67.

If you have been employed in an organization that are affiliated to another public occupational pension fund after being affiliated to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund, you must apply for retirement pension from the occupational pension fund you were last affiliated to.
